Covid-19 could lead to strokes and brain damage in up to six out of 10 severely-ill patients, study finds
Six in 10 Covid sufferers also had a stroke in small study of 125 British patients. Almost a third of patients developed psychosis or had dementia-like symptoms. Inflammation in major arteries leading to the brain is thought to be the cause.
