How things stand across the county
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases appears to be decreasing once again, with many areas not recording any data at all, though one area in particular recorded a massive rise in case rates.
. This will come as a relief to many, and makes a change from the picture at the height of the pandemic. Many of the areas across Lancashire have also recorded a decrease in cases, however, the overall case rate for the county has increased by 18.1% in the week ending April 29.
