While hosting a youth football camp in Frisco, the Cowboys edge rusher vowed to reach another level in his fourth NFL campaign.
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons receives a pass as he interacts with young football players at his youth football camp on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Legacy Christian Academy in Frisco.while taking a break at his youth football camp at Legacy Christian Academy. “It is just another year, another training camp. Another year to dominate and prove where we’re going and the type of year we’re going to have.
The 6-foot-3 linebacker is not discouraged by fans’ criticism and, in fact, he views it as an opportunity. Parsons doesn’t just hope to be better on the field this year. He has aspirations off the field, too. “I just hope for the power of influence, the power of God, and the power of giving back to our youth, who nowadays are neglected,” Parsons said about the mission of Lion’s Heart Foundation. “Our target areas are ages anywhere between 16 and 30 of the people we want to impact. I want to get back to the old-school ways when we take these kids under our wing and teach them about life, becoming mentors and leaders to them.
