Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy and linebacker Micah Parsons react to wide receiver CeeDee Lamb signing massive $136 million extension with the team.
The Dallas Cowboys officially extended All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb Monday, signing him to a four-year, $136 million deal. The deal included a record-breaking $38 million signing bonus and $100 million in guarantees, making Lamb the second-highest receiver in the NFL, per ESPN's Todd Archer. Only Minnesota Vikings' receiver Justin Jefferson earns more per year than Lamb.Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons congratulated Lamb on the extension.
'Not only with what he brings to the table -- we've been talking about what he does with his production -- but when that big smile he walks in the locker room, everybody's going to be fired up because that's the kind of juice. He brings, that's that type of energy to our locker room,' McCarthy said, via Archer.Lamb's return will give him nearly two weeks to practice with the team before their Week 1 game against the Cleveland Browns on Sep. 8.
