High winds have battered the festival site this morning
The organisers of Creamfields have said the opening of the festival today will be delayed as Storm Lilian continues to hit the UK. The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for wind from 5am until 11am today, Friday, August 23. Forecasters warned the storm may lead to disruption to travel and infrastructure this morning, as well as 'danger to life from flying debris'. Creamfields , held in Daresbury, Cheshire, started yesterday and will finish this Sunday.
