But wouldn't it be nice to jazz up your New Year traditions with one allowing you to To kick off your 2023 with a bang, Spotify launched a new feature called Playlist in a Bottle where you can create a time capsule of all the songs you're vibing to in 2023 for your 2024 self to listen to.

This interactive experience lets you revisit your 2023 musical self one year later. It's a fun way to look back at which era you were in during this time—were you brokenhearted and listening to sad songs on repeat? Or were you in your villain era, rocking to the most badass tracks?To make a Playlist in a Bottle, first, make sure that your mobile app is updated. Then when you see the pop-up, tap on"Get Started.

Select your time capsule of choice from a bottle, jean pocket, gumball machine, lunch box, or teddy bear, and answer the song-inspired prompts—a song reminds you of your favorite person, a song do you need to hear live in 2023, and a song you're going to kiss someone to this year. Once you have every locked in, you can share your little message in the bottle on Instagram as you wait for January 2024 to come.
