The Concacaf Final will crown the Confederation’s new club champion and culminate a revamped 59th edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup. For the first time in its history, the competition included 27 of the best clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean and was played across five rounds.to win both legs of the semifinal round outright and by a 5-2 margin on aggregate. It was the first time the Crew had ever advanced to the Concacaf semifinal round.
The 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Final was originally scheduled for June 2, but Mexico's national elections are taking place on the same day, so the match was moved up a day. The Crew return to MLS action against FC Cincinnati at Lower.com Field on May 11 in a "Hell Is Real" rivalry renewal with their in-state foes.
The Black & Gold were scheduled to host home matches against New England on May 29 and Seattle on June 1 at Lower.com Field, but the MLS is expected to re-schedule them, according to a statement from the team.
