The fire at the townhouse on Justin Place was reported at about 1:20 p.m.
ANTIOCH — The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crew rescued a person from a fire that erupted at a multi-family home complex at Antioch on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
ConFire spokesperson Lauren Ono said the rescued person suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. A dog was also found dead on the scene. The fire district received multiple calls at 1:20 p.m. from neighbors as they saw a blaze that erupted from the units on the second floor burning.
When the crews arrived, they found an active fire in the middle unit. The two units next to it were also affected due to fire and water damages.As of 4 p.m., crew were still on location clearing out the scene.
