San Antonio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of whoever killed 15-year-old Ethan Martinez near a Southwest Side apartment complex. Martinez was found on the ground with a gunshot wound on Dec. 30 in the 6000 block of Ray Ellison Boulevard.
Shortly after reaching the parking lot, gunfire erupted, and Martinez was shot and killed. Police also said a handgun was found near the teen. Nearby video footage reportedly showed numerous people at the scene who are believed to be witnesses. Martinez’s mom, Stephanie Solis, previously told the Express-News that her son had a big heart and an exuberant personality. “Ethan did not deserve what these kids did to him,” she said. “We will fight for justice until it is received.
