The red wine drink hack has been dubbed a 'crime' by some wine drinkers
Have you ever opened a bottle of wine, only to find it tastes more like vinegar than the vino you were hoping for? If that scenario fills you with dread, there's a viral hack trending on social media platforms that might just save the day.
The drink dates back to the 1920s and originates from the Old Port area of Algorta, a coastal town in Spain's Basque Country, reports the Mirror. It's made by mixing red wine and cola into an easily quaffable concoction. They said: "Apparently all you need is Coke and red wine. I do feel like I'm committing a crime adding this to ice, but I need to follow the rules here. So it's supposed to be a 50/50 mix and you can use any cheap wine.
