The Little Twist Fire burning in Beaver County, Utah, had grown to 1,000 acres on Saturday, June 15, 2024, according to the Central Utah Fire Interagency. It was burning on steep and rugged terrain and was zero percent contained.
Officials of the National Weather Service said these conditions will last through Monday, and any new or existing fires in the forecasted area are at risk of spreading rapidly.
