Crosta Pizzeria and A Mano were recently named among the best pizzerias in the world at the awards ceremony of the 50 Top Pizza World 2024, held on September 10 in Naples, Italy.Makati-based Crosta, owned by couple Ingga Cabangon-Chua and Thomas Wudwyk, ranked 12th on the global list.Crosta was also named the 2nd best pizzeria in Asia by 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific back in March, with Japanese chef Yuichi Abellare Ito taking took home the Pizza Maker of the Year award.
The top 10 pizzerias in the world are the following: Una Pizza Napoletana ; Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria and I Masanielli - Francesco Martucci tied on the 2nd spot; The Pizza Bar on 38th ; Confine ; Napoli on the Road ; Tony's Pizza Napoletana ; I Tigli ; Sartoria Panatieri ; 50 Kalò ; and Seu Pizza Illuminati .Organized by the 50 Italy Group, the 50 Top Pizza issues lists of the best pizzerias in existence in Italy, Europe, United States, the APAC region, as well as a global list.
