Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli performed to thousands on Liverpool's Pier Head for the Cunard's Queen Anne naming ceremony.
People waited for hours along the Pier Head to watch the entertainment put on to celebrate the naming ceremony. The day was packed with performances by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, with more stars scheduled to perform later this evening. Local performers will be keeping the waterfront crowds entertained on the ground for hours to come. From around 8.30pm, evening celebrations begin, with a further piece from Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, transporting visitors to a world of funk and soul as the legendary Liverpudlian TV personality and DJ, Craig Charles, joins the orchestra on stage for a unique collaboration set to thrill.
