A woman accused of causing serious injury to a man after driving without due care and attention at Rhayader has elected a crown court trial.
Victoria Bloomfield denied causing serious injury to Paul Richard Mountain by driving a Nissan Qashqai on the A470 at Rhayader without due care and attention on August 7 2022, when she appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Magistrates accepted jurisdiction of the case but the 33 year-old of Glamis Drive, Hornchurch elected a trial at the crown court. The matter was sent to Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court for an initial hearing on January 6. Ms Bloomfield remains on unconditional bail until that date.
