A survey by The Kennel Club revealed the intriguing findings, with 66 per cent of owners saying their dog has helped them get fitter and 65 per cent believing they have become more active as a result of their canine companion
Nearly two-thirds of dog owners believe having a four-legged friend helps them get fitter and healthier, according to research.
Crufts, run by The Kennel Club, is a unique celebration of happy, healthy dogs and of the loving relationship that they enjoy with their owners – and kicked off at the NEC Birmingham on Thursday. Lott, who hails from Worcester, hit the big time on her first ever NEC attempt after three-year-old Eadie, nicknamed the ‘Unicorn’, helped Lott combat lockdown loneliness.
