Disgruntled cruise ship passengers staged a ‘mutiny’ after their mystery voyage ended up stopping at Great Yarmouth and a Dutch port likened to a council estate.
The next stop in the tour was historic Second World War site Dunkirk, France, where 1,000 migrants were being evicted from a makeshift camp.After stopping off in Antwerp, in neighbouring Belgium, the ship arrived at the Dutch industrial port of Ijmuiden.‘Some have said they won’t get off the ship at the next destination. They just want it to be over.’
The ship stopped off at Dunkirk on the same day 1,000 migrants were being cleared out of a makeshift camp Martin Lister, Head of Itinerary Planning & Destination Experience, said the itinerary ‘comprises a mixture of ports that we know that our guests enjoy visiting’ with ‘maiden calls and places that we visit less frequently’.
