hen Anna Egorova emerged as the buyer of Melbourne’s $41 million Avon Court luxury estate, she paid the highest price for any property sold in Victoria so far this year.

Records show they paid $18.25 million for the two-storey, five-bedroom Italianate mansion known as Verona on 1412 square metres in March last year. According to his LinkedIn, Mr Egorov is based in Switzerland, so whether the couple intends to connect the properties and create a sprawling Australian base – or simply upgrade over the fence – remains to be seen.Sunrise sports presenter Mark Beretta and wife Rachel have sold their Mosman resort-style home, after it arrived on the market in February with a guide of $15.5 million. While the final sale price remains undisclosed, it is understood to be slightly under the initial guide.
