Crystal Palace confirm Roy Hodgson return as manager as 75-year-old replaces Patrick Vieira CPFC
Roy Hodgson has returned to Crystal Palace as manager until the end of the season, the Premier League club have confirmed.
“Crystal Palace is known for its fighting spirit, and I have no doubt that all our supporters will fight with us, beginning with the visit of Leicester City a week Saturday.”Paddy McCarthy, who has been in interim charge since Vieira’s sacking, will be assistant manager, Ray Lewington will return as first team coach and Dean Kiely will keep his position as goalkeeper coach.
Hodgson brings a wealth of experience in management in a career spanning over four decades. He’s been in charge of teams across Europe, and has led Liverpool, Inter Milan and England.last Friday amid relegation fears.
