Former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison has criticised Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz for the build-up to Liverpool's winning goal. The Reds claimed a 1-0 victory against Palace in the Premier League clash at Selhurst Park on Saturday lunchtime. Diogo Jota scored the winning goal for Liverpool in the ninth minute with his second of the season.
'It’s a great ball inside. Munoz, I don’t know what he is doing. He’s just daydreaming, doesn’t check his shoulder. 'Great ball from Tsimikas, Gakpo gets to the left-hand side and whips a ball in and Jota, six yards out no defenders near him, taps it past Henderson.' Munoz was substituted just eight minutes after Jota's goal where he was replaced by former Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne.
