Roy Hodgson believes Crystal Palace deserved a point after they suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Everton .
Vitalii Mykolenko and Abdoulaye Doucoure twice put the visitors in front but Palace restored parity on both occasions thanks to efforts from Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard.VERDICT: What happened in dugout and away end spoke volumes about landmark Everton win "Well, it was because you concede so early in the first half then we did well, worked very hard to get that equaliser," Hodgson said. At half-time we were fairly confident we could continue in the way we had been playing which had given us ascendancy in large parts of the game, only to concede again a matter of minutes later.
"To concede a third goal is very frustrating and saddening really, it leaves me feeling we could have or should've done better to hold on to the point we had and deserved when we equalised.
