Paying tribute to two fallen Bristol police officers. Saturday marks two years since Lt. Dustin DeMonte and Sgt. Alex HamzyIn the lobby of the Bristol Police Department is a cruiser door signed and scribbled with messages of support. All of them dedicated to fallen officers Lieutenant Dustin DeMonte and Sergeant Alex Hamzy.
Saturday marked two years since both officers died after being ambushed while responding to a disturbance call. People stopped by the memorial with flowers and other items to pay their respects.
