Two products from Cumbria have been given the highest accolade - a three-star Great Taste Award

The Great Taste Awards has huge gravitas in the world of culinary expertise, with the logo proudly placed on winning products and food items, showing the very best of what's on offer. Dubbed as the world's most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme, the Great Taste Awards are judged by a team from the Guild of Fine Food who have reviewed 13,672 products from 115 countries.

In Cumbria, 69 products have bagged themselves an award this year, with two achieving a three-star award, the highest a product or business can receive. Those that received three-stars, including Mr Vikki's Habenero Chilli Jam and True North Coffee Roasters' Guava Banana, will go on to be judged in a further stage of the competition.
