Cyber Security Minister Clare O’Neil says the problem with current laws in place for cyber security is their “really narrow definition” of what a cyber attack is.
“They give the government special powers to manage cyber incidents only during the technical event of the cyber
attack,” Ms O’Neil told Sky News Australia.“What really matters is the consequence management that occurs afterwards.”
