Members of the Bureau of Customs stationed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City seized on Friday illegal drugs valued at P13.5-million.

The parcel, which was declared as canned food and fruits, originated from Denmark. It was consigned to an individual in Taguig City whose name was not revealed. Criminal charges will be filed against the claimant for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Section 1401 of Republic Act No. 10863, also known as the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act .
