Frank Connell - a man who cut hair and donated generously, we will miss you dearly 💔
Tributes have been paid to a beloved barber from Lincoln who, together with his close friend, raised over £1million for charitable causes.
“He was phenomenal, a man who got on with everyone, a great man. I had my hair cut every Friday in his shop and we talked for hours about who we could help. They were also instrumental in establishing the popular tank memorial, which was unveiled at Tritton Road roundabout in 2015. They were both part of the tank memorial committee and raised around £100,000.
In a post on social media, she said: “This book needs you to write a letter or even just pen a quick message with a memory about Frank, how he affected your life, what he brought to the community and just regarding what an incredible person Frank was.
