Cybersecurity expert Jeremiah Baker has warned has revealed the 'biggest red flag' that people should be on the lookout for

Financial scams can be devastating, with one in five people in the UK duped by such schemes last year, according to Citizens Advice. Unfortunately, fraudsters are constantly devising new ways to swindle people out of their money, but there are some common warning signs you can watch out for.

He said: "Your bank's never going to call you and... ask you for your username and password, or any kind of identifiable information. It's usually a tee-up of someone asking you for something... an impersonation scam — pretending to be an institution when they're not, a friend, a colleague, a relative."
