Cybersecurity review board's report to flag Microsoft flaws in China hack: WaPo
Investing.com -- Microsoft is set for scrutiny as the Cyber Safety Review Board is expected to issue a scathing report blaming the tech giant for inadequate cybersecurity safety measures that led to a major Chinese hack in the U.S. government last year, the Washington Post reported Tuesday.
Chinese state-linked hackers breached Microsoft's email platform last year, stealing some 60,000 emails from U.S. State Department accounts. The Cyber Safety Review Board, a panel of US government and private experts, was tasked with investigating the causes of the hack.Risk Disclosure: Trading in financial instruments and/or cryptocurrencies involves high risks including the risk of losing some, or all, of your investment amount, and may not be suitable for all investors.
