Emergency services rushed to the scene on Manse Road, at the junction with Drymen Road, at around 8.10am on Tuesday March 19. Sadly, Una Brandreth succumbed to her injuries.

A cyclist who died in a horror crash involving a HGV in Bearsden earlier this week has been named by police as her heartbroken family pay tribute to the 'much loved' mum.

"We are asking for privacy at what is a very difficult time for us all as we come to terms with our loss. Sergeant Chris Hoggans, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: "Our thoughts remain with Una’s family and friends.
