Dessers has struggled for form since his £4.5million summer switch but the new boss has promised he'll put the work in to get him firing.
The £4.5million signing was Michael Beale’s No.1 target this summer. But the former Feyenoord and Cremonese front man has been a major disappointment so far. The Belgian-born Nigeria international has managed just three goals in 15 appearances and has found himself repeatedly singled out for stick by seething supporters.
