The Gers ace has had a manic start to life at Rangers but he's ready to dismantle PSV in the Champions League.
Cyriel Dessers insists he’s starting to feel right at home at Rangers now he’s finished with the flat packs in the house.
“At home, also, you have to move from Italy to Scotland and get a house, get a car and do the administration. I have had to assemble IKEA furniture! So these are all the things people don’t see on the pitch or on the television. Dessers is a dab hand with a screwdriver but he also made his name as a Euro specialist as well. The hitman was the top scorer in the Europa Conference two seasons ago when Feyenoord went all the way to the Final on the back of his 10 goals, only to be halted by Jose Mourinho’s Roma. How come he seems to have the tools for continental competition?
Handily, Dessers also has the instruction manual to take PSV apart. The frontman notched a double on his last meeting with the Dutch powerhouse back in May 2022, when he pounced in stoppage time. He’s hoping to pick up where he left off.
