Sunday was the first official 100-temperature day in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of 2024, according to the National Weather Service.
Shortly before 3:45 p.m. Sunday, the temperature recorded at DFW International Airport was 100, NWS Fort Worth said in a social media post.NWS Fort Worth has issued a heat advisory for multiple North Texas counties, including Collin, Dallas, Denton, Rockwall and Tarrant, the agency’sThe advisory will be in effect from noon Monday to 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to the weather service.Highs could again reach triple digits this week, the weather service said.
