According to Gap Inc., the outfit, which was crafted by creative director Zac Posen, pays tribute to the brand's 1969 denim and meets the Met Gala'sRandolph, 37, said in a statement shared by Gap, "With this Gap gown, I’ve fallen back in love with denim. I feel powerful. It makes me feel very feminine, but in a way that I can identify with — through strength, power and resilience.
