Dad left 'amused and horrified' when his daughter left a 'sassy' note about why she hadn't eaten her sandwich at school
A DAD was left “amused and horrified” after he discovered his daughter had left him a note in her lunchbox saying why she had left her food untouched.
Pete Simson, 37, from Bristol, had packed a sandwich for daughter Pearl to take to school and asked her what she had thought about it when she came home.Bristol dad Pete Simson was surprised when his daughter Pearl, seven, left him a note in her lunchbox saying she had left the foodTo his surprise, the sassy seven-year-old said she had left him a note inside her lunchbox explaining why she hadn’t eaten it.
"I thought it might be a thank you or something but as soon as I saw the dishevelled sarnie in there I knew something was amiss."The dark brown pencil it was written with should have been a clue, it was a foreboding colour."Peter was torn as to how to react to the note, as he admitted he was amused that Pearl had gone to the trouble of writing such a defiant note.
