A father who was criticised by a fellow plane passenger for his parenting skills decided to let his son scream at the angered traveller for over an hour
. The dad in return, however, has been slammed for 'weaponising' his child during the journey.
The dad said on Reddit: "I had our son as a lap infant. He was having a really challenging time - he wouldn’t sleep, sit still, or calm by all the tricks we had up our sleeves. He added: "I replied, 'We’re doing our best', he repeated that you 'Need to control your kid', I kept trying to explain we’re doing everything we can.
"My non-combative wife was mortified and I was angry. So to maliciously comply with the gentlemen, I held our kid still on my lap facing this gentleman’s seat and my son then screamed for the remaining 90 minutes of the flight. The response on the popular forum was mixed, with one user claiming its in the child's nature to be uncomfortable when in the air.
