Adam Davies said he went to see his doctors numerous times
A dad was told repeatedly 'not to worry' before his worst fears came true. Adam Davies went to see his GP after finding a lump in his mouth, but was told it was 'quite common' and 'nothing to worry about'. The 40-year-old, from Warrington , made an appointment with his dentist in January last year who later referred him to the NHS to have it removed. However, Adam claimed he was not called for a consultation until March this year, reports CheshireLive .
” Adam was supported by Macmillan’s cancer nurses and said they were a 'godsend'. Following further tests, Adam received the positive news the cancer hadn't spread, however the two-week wait to hear the news was 'utterly horrendous'. He said: “The worst feeling is the unknown. I have a wife, Michelle, and two young children, Zachary and Charlotte, a great job with Blithe House and I feel like I have so much life to live.
