A father was killed after opening fire on police officers in Philadelphia.

Around 7.00pm on Wednesday night, Philadelphia police officers responded to a 911 call placed by a 12-year-old boy in Rhawnhurst. The boy, who has not been identified, told police his father had been arguing with him about the volume of his video game.
Two were hit in the legs, while the third was hit in the finger. The father was killed when responding police officers returned fire. Both the boy and an unidentified woman were able to escape from the house uninjured. The uncle was hospitalized in critical condition. The three officers were taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital and are in stable condition. ‘It is stunning, I thank God that they’re okay,’ Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said at a press conference on Wednesday night.
