Two men appear to be pointing a gun at a white sedan in the area of the central Oak Cliff fatal shooting on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, according to video shared by Dallas police. Officers responded to a shooting call a little after 3 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 4500 block of Village Drive, near West Ann Arbor Avenue. Quentin Gellington, 38, stepped in to defend a victim of an aggravated robbery when he was shot by an unknown suspect or suspects, police said.An uninvolved 31-year-old woman was also shot, police said. Both victims were sent to a local hospital, where Gellington died from his injuries.The woman was treated and released, police said.
