Elizalde chats with first-grade student Everly Rojas During the first day of school at Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy in Dallas on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023. The district is ready to welcome 140,000 students as they embark on a new journey for the 2023-2024 school year.
