The Dallas Mavericks made a big announcement.
After missing the NBA playoffs in 2023, the Mavs responded by finishing the year as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 50-32 record.
They defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves in the first three rounds of the playoffs and they are now headed to the NBA Finals where they will face off against the Boston Celtics.The Mavericks have signed GM Nico Harrison to a multi-year contract extension, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone given the fact that Dallas is in a position to compete for its second championship in franchise history.
