Nic Fink came home to Dallas with one gold and two silver medals from his time at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

You wouldn’t expect to see an Olympic medalist at a Raising Cane’s in Northwest Dallas, but there was U.S. swimmerDuring a homecoming event Monday, Fink served customers and prepared Cane’s sauce, which he says is his favorite, though he tries to be mindful of his diet.

He continued swimming while working as an engineer and trained at SMU. At 31, Fink became the oldest U.S. swimmer on the roster for the Paris Olympics.“I’ve shifted and adjusted things to my age and where I am in life,” he said. “I started having more ofMargalis-Fink swam at Georgia with her husband, and like him, won a gold medal on a Team USA relay, at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the 4x200 freestyle.
