Fans began lining up outside of the College Park Center in Arlington Friday two hours before the game began.

The WNBA team announced Wednesday that tickets for the first two regular-season games of the 2024 season are sold out. They expect capacity crowds at College Park Center in Arlington for the May 15 and 18 games against the Chicago Sky.

The sellouts date back to last season, where the Wings announced a sellout of its 2023 WNBA Playoff Semifinal game against the Las Vegas Aces on Sept. 29. The Wings also sold out College Park Center for their preseason matchup against The Chicago Sky, which features rookie Angel Reese from LSU, open their regular season in North Texas after playing preseason matchups against the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty.for the first time in franchise history. Wings season ticket memberships account for nearly 40% of the 6,251 seats inside College Park Center in Arlington, the team said. The arena's remaining seats have all been designated for single-game, group, or flex plan tickets.
