Man United defender Diogo Dalot will be hoping to impress against his former manager in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Of the 11 major signings Jose Mourinho made during his time in charge at Manchester United, only two of them are still at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese international has started each of United's opening 12 games this season, 10 of which have been at left-back. But it was Mourinho who arguably paid Dalot his biggest compliment during his United career, insisting he had the capacity to play for the club for up to a decade. Dalot's fellow countryman made the admission after his debut for the Reds in September 2018 in a 3-0 win over BSC Young Boys in the Champions League.
Speaking a few months later, Mourinho made a similar admission, saying: "I don't want to compare, especially not the number of titles but he is probably the same age as Gary Neville when he came into the first team. Probably he can follow Neville in this dynamic of more than 10 years as United's right-back, with amazing conditions to improve, because as I was saying he's 19 years old.
