The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday in effect until 3 p.m. for Greene and Sumter counties.

Published: Jun. 26, 2024, 2:30 p.m."At 2:20 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Emelle, or 7 miles north of Livingston, moving northeast at 25 mph," states the weather service. "Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees."
