Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed incoming owner Dan Friedkin could intervene to keep defender Jarrad Branthwaite at the club., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – suggested there is “no doubt” that Friedkin would have evaluated the club’s talent during his due diligence process.
