Needless to say, it was a lot to take in. “I was shocked that it had grown that quickly and scared of the battle I knew I was about to face,” she added.Even so, breaking the news to her kids, Brooke Hyland, 26, Paige Hyland, 23, and son Josh Hyland, 25, was one of the most difficult parts of the diagnosis. Both Paige and Brooke immediately thought of their grandmother, whom they lost to cancer in 2019.
