Dancing On Ice stars Dan Edgar, Ferne McCann and Anton Ferdinand have been seen with their professional partners for the first time as they showed off their moves on the ice
With just two months to go until Dancing on Ice returns to our screens, some of the 2025 line-up are already giving us a sneak peek at their skills. TOWIE's Dan Edgar was spotted practising some daring lifts with his pro partner Vanessa James Amoros for the first time. The reality star was seen outside launching Vanessa into the air as she performed the splits, even going as far as to recreate the iconic Dirty Dancing lift.
Meanwhile, footballer Anton Ferdinand was completely focused as his partner, Annette Dytrt, helped him perfect his form on the ice. As he successfully lifted one leg into the air, Annette provided balance by gently placing her hand on his shoulder, reports the Mirror. Earlier this year, the BBC dance competition faced bullying allegations involving pro dancer Giovanni Pernice and actress Amanda Abbington, leading to a wider investigation that resulted in pro Graziano Di Prima being let go for kicking TV personality Zara McDermott. According to reports, the celebrities set to appear on Dancing On Ice early next year will be assigned a producer to monitor their "wellbeing".
A source said: "Dan didn't want anything to distract him from the competition, and he didn't want to have to worry about what Joey was thinking," and added that Dan wanted to keep things strictly professional on the ice. "Why create any problems when asking for a different dancer is easily avoided? Insiders say it was part of his discussions about joining the show and didn't cause any problems.
