DancingonIce judge John Barrowman breaks down in tears as Ian 'H' Watkins and Matt Evers skate together
Dancing on Ice returned to our screens on Sunday night, with Ian ‘H’ Watkins and Matt Evers making history as the first-ever same-sex pairing to compete on the show.
"You've shown that two men can perform and skate together. It doesn't have to be what you did before with the man/woman thing...you know, man/man, switch it up, do it different ways. He then added: "I just have to say, thank you to the network, thank you to ITV and thank you to everybody at home who is accepting of this because this is normal!"
As the Dancing on Ice studio audience cheered for Matt and Ian, viewers at home took to Twitter to praise the pair as one person wrote: “Wowzers! Well done@ITV and of course Matt Evers and @Ianhwatkins for making history on #DancingOnIce."
