The family of a gran who was killed by a speeding driver as she walked her dog have hit out after he was jailed for just under four years.

Dolores’ heartbroken relatives, who were in court, slammed the sentence in a family statement released through Digby Brown Solicitors following the hearing. "We wish to thank those who have supported us but we now request our privacy is respected as we take time to process everything that has happened and find a way for our family to look to the future in the positive way Doe would have wanted.”
He had been on a “long sweeping bend” when he lost control of the motor. Mrs Humphries had earlier left her home to walk her dog when tragedy struck.
