A 'dangerously out of control' dog was shot dead in East Kilbride on Sunday morning after launching a vicious attack on another pooch and leaving three people injured.
Officers were unable to get the dog under control and had to call for back up. "Three people reported receiving minor injuries during this incident. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the breed of dog and there will be a continued police presence in the area while enquiries continue.
