Premier Daniel Andrews has left Victoria for China ahead of his four-day trade trip.

The Victorian Premier’s trip to China is set to involve back-to-back meetings with officials from the education ministry and other government leaders.

Despite the meetings, no Victorian university representatives will travel with Mr Andrews – he will instead be accompanied by the secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet and two of his office staff.
